MY VANSHAVALI ("we," "our," or "us") is an independent family genealogy utility application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the MY VANSHAVALI mobile application ("App").
1. Information You Enter in the App
MY VANSHAVALI allows users to enter information for creating a family genealogy (Vanshavali), which may include names, parentage, relationships, addresses, land-related details, and other information entered by the user.
The App is designed to process this information locally on the user's device.
We do not operate a server or database that stores the family genealogy information entered by users. We do not intentionally upload or transmit this user-entered genealogy information to our own servers.
Users are responsible for the accuracy and security of the information they enter, download, print, or share from the App.
2. Local Storage
The App may store user-created information temporarily or locally on the user's device using local storage or application storage mechanisms.
This information may remain on the device until the user deletes the App data, clears the App's storage, uninstalls the App, or otherwise removes the stored information.
Because this information is stored on the user's device, users should protect their device with appropriate security measures such as a screen lock or biometric authentication.
3. Files Created by the App
The App may create PDF, PNG, or other temporary files when users generate, download, print, or share their Vanshavali.
These files may be stored in the application's cache or device storage depending on the device and operating system.
The App does not intentionally upload these generated documents to our own servers.
Users are responsible for managing, sharing, or deleting downloaded files from their device.
4. Advertising – Google AdMob
MY VANSHAVALI uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
Google AdMob is a third-party advertising service and may collect, process, or use certain device and advertising-related information for purposes such as delivering advertisements, measuring advertising performance, preventing fraud, and providing advertising services.
Depending on the user's device settings, region, consent choices, and applicable advertising configuration, information such as advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, approximate location, app interaction information, and other advertising-related information may be processed by Google or its advertising partners.
The information handled by Google AdMob is subject to Google's own privacy policies and applicable advertising policies.

5. Third-Party Services
The App may use third-party services such as Google AdMob.

The App does not intentionally send the user's family genealogy information, land details, or generated Vanshavali documents to Google AdMob for advertising purposes.
6. Internet Access
The App may require Internet access primarily for services such as loading advertisements and other necessary online functionality.
The App's core Vanshavali information entered by the user is designed to be processed locally and is not intentionally uploaded to our own server.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to design the App so that user-entered genealogy information can be processed locally on the device.
However, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. The security of locally stored information also depends on the security of the user's device.
We therefore recommend using a secure device lock, PIN, password, or biometric authentication.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We do not maintain a server-side database of the family genealogy information entered by users.
Locally stored information remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, the App's data is cleared, or the App is uninstalled, subject to the behavior of the device and operating system.
Downloaded PDF, PNG, or other files may remain in the device's Downloads, Files, Gallery, or other storage locations even after the App is uninstalled. Users should manually delete such files if they are no longer required.
Information processed by third-party services such as Google AdMob is subject to the respective third party's retention and deletion policies.
9. Children's Privacy
MY VANSHAVALI is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
The App does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children for storage on our own servers.
Because the App may display advertisements through Google AdMob, applicable advertising and age-related requirements may apply depending on the user's age, region, and advertising configuration.
10. Government Information Disclaimer
MY VANSHAVALI is an independent application and is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Government of Bihar, the Directorate of Land Records & Survey, or any other government department or agency.
Where the App refers to government forms or information, users should verify the latest information from the relevant official government sources.
The App does not certify, approve, authenticate, or verify any user's Vanshavali, land ownership, inheritance, or government record.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, services, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When changes are made, the updated "Last Updated" date will be displayed at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
